Dine with Us
Our passion at Poppy is ‘Farm to Fire.’ Starting with our ingredients – they are either locally-sourced, small-batched, or seasonal. At Poppy we work with ‘Chef’s Garden’ out of Ohio to procure some of the freshest seasonal vegetables, the farmers at ‘Chef’s Garden’ pick our vegetables the day they are ordered. Our one-of-a-kind open heath in the kitchen fires up our hot dishes and flavors, while adding a coziness and warmth to the atmosphere.
Executive Chef Charles Bartsch guides the ambitious yet approachable menu through the seasons with weekly changes to the menu. The menu is designed to be had in multiple courses. Poppy consists of small plates, each with 4oz of protein, which encourages everyone to explore the menu and try multiple dishes.
The entire Poppy wine menu is available by the glass using the Coravin system which allows wine to be poured without taking the cork out. This new system allows us to offer a unique selection of wine that you might not otherwise get to try.
Poppy is a jewel box of a space, with its intimate dining room, surrounded by floor to ceiling windows neatly envelops the restaurant. Adding to the sense of drama is the wood-burning hearth where all parts of the fire are used to create dishes like the wild boar and the pork cheeks. Poppy’s elaborate presentations are so artfully put together; diners often pull out their phone to snap a photo of the edible artwork.
